Yahoo!!!! You've arrived!!!!
First thought you might have when touching down at Changi Airport is......How big is this place???? One of the largest and busiest air hubs in SE Asia and has been voted by Skytrax as the best international airport for the past 5 years. Terminal 4 officially opened in October 2017 and if you are travelling with Airasia, the budget travellers choice for flights within Asia, you will be arriving or leaving from this newest terminal. Citizens of almost 80% of the world's countries may travel to Singapore for a period of 30 days or 90 days without a visa, depending on their nationality but check about your own circumstance before arriving to be sure, |

There is a free shuttle bus that runs 24 hours a day between Terminal 4 and Terminal 2 and once in Terminal 2 the free Skytrain connects Terminal 1, 2 & 3. If you're heading into the city the public transport trains or MRT can be accessed on foot from Terminals 2 & 3. First train to Tanah Merah Station departs Changi Airport Station at 5.30am Monday to Saturday and at 6.00am on Sundays and public holidays. Last train to Tanah Merah station that connects to the city departs Changi Airport Station at 11.18pm. To get to the city, transfer to the westbound train at Tanah Merah station. Although Changi Airport is very organised and well signposted due to it's huge size make sure you allow plenty of time to negotiate the various options of terminals and gates.

![]() Just passing through?
There is a choice of pay-for-use lounges within Changi Airport, see HERE for details. The only one I can comment on is the Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 1. Entry to this lounge can be booked on-line and is going to cost you $58 SGD for 5 hours access and add another $16 to have a shower there. The lounge is a little dated but comfortable enough, the food isn't anything to rave about and you still have to pay for any alcohol which isn't cheap. However if you do have a long layover its probably more comfortable than the standard terminal seating...and they do have wi-fi and plenty of charging points. |
